Black Box Profiles

Box profiles are hollow bars of square or rectangular cross-section, also known as square or rectangular pipes. A rectangular box profile differs from a square box profile only in cross-sectional area and sometimes in wall thickness. Due to being hollow it tends to be fairly light yet rigid and durable which makes it good for a number of different applications. The thickness of the box profiles may vary depending on their application.

Box profiles provide higher strength compared to weight ratios and provide a better visual appearance to structural works. Box profiles have equal resistance to bending and high torsional strength due to their hollow sections. Box sections are easy to cut, bend and weld to other connecting structures.
